Takeovers - friend or foe?

What is everyones take on takeovers? If you have WL share that you really looove and are about to buy and then a t/over is rejected but still hovering, once the price settles again, should I partake. I use FKP as example with LLC looming.

Well Rivkin seemed to love takeovers, and his offspring are still consistently spruiking that as a strategy, so there is some merit to seeing them as friend.
