Hi,

Background

I've recently become interested in managing my financials and this includes thinking about investing in shares. I intend on keeping up to date with the market and learning more and more about share trading in general but as I am fairly conservative, I intend on purchasing shares in a sole ETF on the ASX and leaving it at that for some income generation.

Suggestions

As for the main purpose of this thread, I'm looking for some of your personal suggestions on which podcasts to listen to on iPodcast (or whatever its called) to keep up to date with finance news and to perhaps learn more about trading/finance/economics...

As for other sources of information, I have read a few books (barefoot investor, bogle) and also frequent the finance section of Whirlpool.

Currently I follow

1) Money News with Ross Greenwood
2) Planet Money
3) The Economist Radio
4) The Money Cafe
5) The Motley Fool

Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated

Better system traders was really good. (Esp first 50-100 podcasts)

Jim Jeffries podcast is pretty funny.

Also the Non prophets (yes that’s the correct spelling)

I listen to 'Michael Covel's Trend following radio'

He does a lot of interviews which i find pretty interesting, ranging from noble price winners to trend following traders to psychologists.

Also gives links to plenty of articles to read relating to trend following.
