Send him to Level 2 Help Desk........ where they'll repeat what you said plus add: clear the cache and if that fails try a different browser

So Stake is a brokerage. I did a quick duckduck search on them. To be honest I'd never heard of them until you posted. It is a worry if you cannot log in. I had a similar problem once with IBKR which got fixed the following day with a phone call.

R u using Windows, Mac or maybe Android (restart device)?
iOS, restart often helps.
If Windows, updates are essential plus the obligatory restart.
If using modem/router, turn off for 15 mins.

Browsers:
CTRL+F5 or look at Settings and clearing Cache, Data or whatever it's called. Maybe even just deleted the website.

Or like me, use your Google Fu...

yes but it seems to be an issue with the site security certificates ( for me )

that is one reason i use several browsers as i have encountered that issue several times across several sites ( including my bank occasionally )

but in the last few days i have been having general issues with the internet

Received an email from Stake that you will only be able to withdraw funds to a bank account in the same name as the trading account.

Here is the rub , all of our accounts are in joint names with my wife, however we trade under my wife's name only for tax reasons.

I have a Stake and Selfwealth accounts, but I like Stake because well its cheap.

So being lazy and instead of doing the research from scratch , asking the wise members of ASF, for a cheap reliable broker that does not have the same account name requirements.

I suspect you're swimming against the tide.... the AML /CTA enforcement is only going to get tougher and more restrictive.

I don't think it will be a problem so long as one name in the joint account matches the trading account. Same thing happens at IB and it is in my name but withdrawals are to a joint name.
Worst case it takes literally 5 minutes these days to open an online bank account.
