G'day my fellow traders,here is what happened today,things that I still couldnt figure out what exactly has happened(or maybe I will never figure out)........ok before you read it, I encourage you to have a sceptical view on my story,but I swear on my ancestor's grave that this scary episode really did take place!!!!!!
Ok......about 1 and half months ago,one evening me and my roommates were cooking together(and chatting about how USD/JPY would fair that night) suddenly there was a fly, about the size of the finger nail of my middle finger,came into the kitchen flying and buzzing around. It was really annoying so I grabbed some newspapers from nearby table and rolled it up firmer like a stick, and when the fly landed on the mirror near the sink, I just killed that little bugger with a perfect strike like "swoosh", it just dropped dead landing on its back with all legs pointing to the ceiling. but nobody bothers to put its corpse in a dust pan and chuck it away,so we just left it on the granite bench above the sink( we are a lazy buch I admit) ............. weeks after weeks its corpse started to dry up, and there was fair bit of discolouration which the "torso" of that fly turned brownish/yellowish.So basically everyone living here is aware of the existence of this dead body, it's just stayed at the same spot on the bench,everyday when we wash our dishes we can see that little poor thing
And on this very evening around 20:00,December 26th 2008,boxing day, shiitt happens
. This afternoon after watching Ricky Ponting walked out on 101, we decided to clean the whole apartment for good, and I was assign the pleasure of cleaning the kitchen. My main tool was a pair of rubber gloves,an old stingy sponge and a bottle of Ajax cleaning agent. I was really quick on the job, after some 10 minutes the whole place was sparking clean,except the fact the the corpse of that fly was still lying there. But I had no intention of getting rid of it, instead for some god-knows-what reason I just start spreeing Ajax on the body for fun. It was like the body was totally submerged in the Ajax cleaning water, like a body floating in a small pond.......ok let me cut to the point: around 20:00 I decided to get a cup of tea,so I went to the kitchen,filled up the kettle and starting boiling......suddenly, I noticed something on the granite bench where the body lies. It was very small and subtle movement, but definitely not a deja-vu or hallucination. So I moved close to the bench and started observing that small pond of Ajax with a fly on top........and the fly suddenly started moving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : the already dead fly rolled over,stood on its feet, and started crawling on the bench. I think it tried to fly up but the wings were covered with Ajax and they were too moist to be open up. I was totally mesmerised and got confused for about 30 seconds( I mean totally), while I still fixed my eye on that fly, and after that came total shock: a fking dead thing has come back to live!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this shoudnt have happened on this planet!!!!!!! I swear to GOD that the fly was as dead as my great-great-grandfather for at least one and half month, the corpse already dried up and turn yellow just as any lifeless form would take on, but I have to respect my very visual perception of this strange world : after soaking in Ajax for few hours, a dead fly has come back to life.
Ok folks, to be honest I am still in shock now, and all my roommates were flabbergasted when they realised what has just happened. It scared the crap out of my anal ring that I killed that crawling "monster" with a full kettle of steaming hot water and flushed it down the sink......too bad I didnt get the chance to take a picture of it but I was too freaked out and couldnt wait to kill it......now I truly feel like I am in the twilight zone now, this reminds me of that old horror movie called Re-Animated or something, where dead people and animals can be revived by injecting some chemicals......I know a cockroach can survive with a head for several days and eventually died of starvation, I know spiders can live few weeks without food, I know snakes can live perfectly fine without any food for year, but this re-animated fly is just beyond....beyond.... I dont know what to say now. A semi - mummified fly can somehow come to life after soaking in cleaning agent for few hours, I am just.....just..... I dont know what to say anymore, but folks, please believe me, this is a true story that just took place few hours ago.
Please post what you thoughts about this incident as to what other reasonable explanations you might offer me(or the general science world) to solve this reanimation type phenomenon, and I will update as it is unfolding......btw happy trading in 2009, I think I am gonna quit after this paranormal event,maybe it is a sign..........
