Heard on th news tonight that the Bus driver who was responaible for the death of 10 people is charged with at least 14 charges relating to the bus rollover, injures and the deaths of these wedding guests.
Looks as if he sucked in the Magistrate being looking sad and despondent. Got let loose and out on bail.
Not good enough I say
Should be held in the House of Dentention untill his court date

Was he speeding?
Boggles the mind you would attempt to play "Fast and furious" in a bus.

I think an issue with this incident is it's one everyone can relate to.

With a bus crash, well pretty much everyone's been a passenger on a bus sometime in their life so it's something everyone can visualise all too well. It's not like some random accident on a farm or in a factory where most can only vaguely understand what happened. :2twocents

Teachers raised ‘concerns’ about Hunter Valley bus driver after school excursion

A school on the NSW Central Coast has told police and parents that driver Brett Button left teachers “concerned” on a recent trip to Bathurst.

Teachers from a NSW school raised concerns about a Hunter Valley driver just days before 10 wedding guests were killed and dozens injured when his coach rolled over in one of the deadliest bus crashes in decades.

The principal of the Central Coast’s Green Point Christian College emailed parents on Wednesday saying Brett Button had driven their children on the three-and-a-half hour journey to Bathurst for a school excursion last week.
“On the trip to Bathurst our teachers raised concerns about the driver and reported them at the end of the trip as per our usual procedures,” Principal Phillip Nash wrote.
“We ask staff to report anything of concern ... Their concerns were not such that they felt they needed to contact us on the trip.”

Button, 58, was taking guests from a wine country wedding back to Singleton when his coach crashed near the entrance to the Hunter Valley expressway after 11:30pm on Sunday.
Nash said the school had since written to the bus company Linq and police investigating the crash to express its concerns.

So now we have a second scenario involving the same driver.
I wonder just how many other times he has put everyone at risk with his unprofessional driving skills.
Hopefully now his licence to drive will be taken off him for good.
As I was told many years ago as a 17 year old getting my first licence, it is a priveledge not a right to be able to drive.
Tread carefully.
And that from Mr Longman the driving instructor I had and who also taught many in my family how to participate when on the road
