Hmm Waynet this current job not a big but is going to drag into 2 days, Retired people with nothing better to do than keep looking over my shoulder and gas bagging.Ya know,
Work sucks.
Ya know, many here would know that I use to trade full-time for many years. I got back into my trade because I was getting white, fat, weak and curmudgeonly because of all the nonsense.
I'm starting to get the shxts with loopy horse people... and even more curmudgeonly... And my arms are starting to look like I am into self harm.
Watch this space.

For various reasons I will be sticking to the Australian markets from now on, (apart from a bit of day trading if I get bored enough).Get back in to your old trade.
Options.
I miss those pearls of yours, although I never had the guts to get in to it in any serious manner.
Heaps of volatility atm.

Waynet Steady as she goes Nothing wrong with a good cow pat, my bovines give a good supply for the garden. For various reasons I will be sticking to the Australian markets from now on, (apart from a bit of day trading if I get bored enough).
Doing Aussie options changes stuff, a lot.
I'm working out how to do this and it might take me some time...
a/ how to use options strategies effectively within the context of the Australian market.
b/ and working on some left field approaches.
I have found some unlikely muses, in so much as I may be able to combine disparate approaches somehow; a frankenstrategy, if you will.
I have always been a ruminant of ideas, hence my approach to systematic betting in that thread.
At present in the process of regurgitation and rumination. It's quite possible that the result may be nothing more than a cow pat, but I may just be on to a novel approach that works.
Don't hold your breath though .
SoCynical hope that do get the expected enjoyment of not being tied to the rat race.I quit my job 6 months ago and set up a super pension, i do not miss work at all, early days but i will be happy to never have a job again, busy renovating an old house so lots to do but zero pressure.
Some / most people need to have their time structured, need to be needed and feel part of something.SoCynical hope that do get the expected enjoyment of not being tied to the rat race.
Due to a serious injury that nearly killed me 3 years I was bed-ridden and off work for 2.5 years. I did not enjoy that form of retirement, and have now been back what I enjoy, working. I guess everyone to their own. I don't intend to "retire" just because I can, even though the farm can keep me busy 7 days a week, it's not quite the same.
Good fencing contractors are as rare as rocking horse poo these days. Great money too. I often consider after getting busted up under a yang yang.Got to bail out and go and finish a fencing job, money for it is to good to say no.
Back later on.
Have a good one people.
Wayne some fly by nighters such as Jim's but one's such as me pretty thin on the ground.Good fencing contractors are as rare as rocking horse poo these days. Great money too. I often consider after getting busted up under a yang yang.
For me the oppositre after an enforced layoff of 2+ years I have now been back at full time workfor 12 months, and enjoying it.1 year retired anniversary next week, no regrets whatsoever, some days are busy others are not, enjoying it.
