Im currently about to start my fourth and final year of engineering and im looking to invest the majority of my savings from these past three months into stock. Im more interested in risky style stock trading with bigger gains. Ive joined commsec and was wondering if anyone could teach me anything that will help me make gains. I have 10 000$ id like to invest in short to midterm investments. I live in Brisbane and would like any help i could get. Any traders in brisbane that wouldent mind teaching a young lad the game would be greatly appriciated. I have absolutly no idea about trading what so ever and im willing to work hard and learn.

So instead of learning how to run you would like to go straight into the Olympics, you have saved 10K the hard way, with thrift and perseverance and now would like to put that money into a high risk pursuit...and want someone to help you because you don't know what your doing. 
Can i suggest you get some idea...some ideas of your own, form opinions and develop some understanding of the basics of short term trading before jumping into day trading.

Mate, you better off fork out a couple of hundreds from your savings and buy decent trading materials e.g. books, software, data and make the most out of them.
