Moving to Tasmania

...
To be honest after now 2 years of high humidity, relentless heat for 4 months a year, the sunny coast charms are overrated a bit.
A/C every day for months...to dry the house, and thinking to start a fire tonight in the chimney..27C so not cold but 75% humidity inside, 100mm rain in last 24h again , after similar daily rates with Alfred is no good and Singapore seems like paradise ...
@qldfrog rum and humidity go hand in hand... (rcw1 experiences) get a rum into ya bloke.... :)
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Kind regards

With that population flow, there is maybe a future and a hidden Eden within Australia..but moving to Tasmania? ;-)

rcw1 never been to Tasmania... Where is Tasmania? ha hahahaha
Been to Perth once, a few years ago to watch a SoO Rugby League game. Stayed in Perth for a few days enjoyed the city the people were nice and easy to talk with.

Damn it Broncos just scored.... want the Dolphins to win... always the underdog.

Kind regards

Tasmania is a gorgeous place.
People are very country but becoming more cosmopolitan.

Many of them end up in Melbourne as they find it a bit quiet and also jobs. I could easily live in Tazzy.

My property entrance..There is a 1m diameter, cleared culvert under that 😂
20y ago, i was thinking about moving to western Australia supposedly less prone to drought due to global warming...
I was naive and had not done the science then...
Just bored of downpours now...
Australia is really a land of droughts and floods, at least mainland.
These weather cycles are brutal
