Folks, new to the market and was wondering if there are any other good sites/chat rooms etc out there that I should be scanning ... clearly if I'm also looking (and place an order) it should help your long positions that are already set !

Welcome to the site. There was a thread on other sites, you can find it via the search link at the top of each page. Type in chat or similar keywords.
If you take the time to look through the many threads on this site you'll find a lot of interesting info. Also be sure to see the forum 'code of conduct' near the foot of each page and the 'FAQ' link on the toolbar.
