Wow where did craigj pop up from. Me was thinking that my old mate rcw was sitting pretty comfortable in the winners chair.

I honestly do not want to win with PEN.

It barks. It yaps. It is a DOG.

Blame the dart when I win.

All it takes is for the first 3 to fall over and some lunatics on Hotcopper to believe PEN’s bullsh*t and buy and I win.

Not a prospect I’m looking forward to.

@Dona Ferentes, as always has a great way with words.

HAV has given me a joy ride this month. Up and down and still in positive territory however, like PEN, HAV might get knifed in the last hr or so of trading.

Congratulations to Ibza, rcw1 and aus_trader for taking out the top three spots in the January 2023 stock tipping competition! :xyxthumbs

Ibza finished in first place with an impressive 31.58% return with GGE. In second place was rcw1 who achieved an excellent 28.95% with ARR. Rounding out the top three for January was aus_trader who selected SYM, which returned a solid 21.79%.

Can Ibza, rcw1 and aus_trader please contact me via PM regarding their prizes.

Best of luck to all in the February competition! If you haven't entered already then you have until midnight tonight to do so! :xyxthumbs

Here are the final results for January:

End of the January Monthly Tipping Competition and was only decided in the closing auction. I thought it was going to be a draw between the Top 2 until one dropped a fraction at the finishing post.
The XSO was up 6.53% this month while the ASF Team Average was only up 5.91%, so a little below the index.

@Ibza GGE 31.58% held the nerves at bay over the last 2 days to claim 1st Place. Well done, it would have been a shame to lose it right at the end which, sometimes happens.
@rcw1 ARR 28.95% fell at the last hurdle but still hung onto 2nd Place. What an exciting finish, just dropped a little at 4.10pm in the closing auction.
@aus_trader SYM 21.79% done well to hang on for 3rd Place.

@BossMan. BET -18.18% dropped today to rob @farmerge BRN of the wooden spoon :( which is a shame because he was so looking forward to it all month. Short dusting duties @BossMan. - only overnight;).

I think @Joe Blow's official wrap up is already in so I'll wrap up the visual journey of all entries this month. Thanks everyone for adding a bit of fun into the Comp.

I think it was @Telamelo who was going to outlay a $1,000 on each entry and win an absolute fortune each month. I've put the results to the right of the Comp ladder.

Enjoy your evening Folks and don't forget your entries in the Feb Comp :) .

Hey @debtfree re: "I think it was @Telamelo who was going to outlay a $1,000 on each entry & win an absolute fortune each month. I've put the results to the right of the Comp ladder."

Thanks very much @debtfree for your effort & time providing that on the side as interesting to see results indeed +5.91% monthly return ain't too shabby lol as still beats term deposit rates but not quite inflation ?

Cheers tela ?
