@wayneL That's a measurement that I haven't heard or many man,y years. One must figure out what a cubit is first.![]()
Crucial knowledge when building an ArkA cubic is a biblical measurement of length from the elbow to the tip of the middle finger.
Common cubic is 17.6 inches and ranged up to 20.6 inches for a royal or sacred cubic.
Correct. No 10 metre tape measures back then.Crucial knowledge when building an Ark![]()
Guessing about 20mm down at the Ponderosa, with some reasonably violent squalls.Once again it has been a pretty wet weekend with the last 30 odd hours producing 33mm of rain.
We have had some pretty strong winds during the day, but there appears to be no damage that we could see.
Finished up here with 53 mm and just some small branches on the ground.Guessing about 20mm down at the Ponderosa, with some reasonably violent squalls.
We're unscathed, but have noticed 2 or 3 trees down in the area.
At present the ground around the sheds can't take any more as it just lies on the surface and is taking 2-3 days to get away.Wow that a handy amount. Actually better that the rational is higher up there than down here. Better for the aquifer I think.
How did I go ? Have you had enough yet ?Hopefully you have a damp miserable winter and all the dams fill up and some grass covers the dust for you
Never say enough is enough unless the house starts to float away. How did I go ? Have you had enough yet ?
I gather next week will be warm, 32° on Tuesday. Stand by for bitching about thatHandy rainfall today with 15mm in the gauge so far.
Perhaps some drizzle later and into tomorrow.
just remember; even if it's raining cats and dogs, try not to step into a poodle.Finished up here with 53 mm and just some small branches on the ground.
Looks as if there will be a bit more coming during the week.
