With a forecast of somewhere in the region of 40+ mm forecast we have so far received 27mm since 4pm yesterday.
Severe weather warnings also, but to date a couple of strong wind gusts.
The cattle aren't to perturbed as they move from the shelter of the trees back to munching the grass.

Once again it has been a pretty wet weekend with the last 30 odd hours producing 33mm of rain.
We have had some pretty strong winds during the day, but there appears to be no damage that we could see.

Guessing about 20mm down at the Ponderosa, with some reasonably violent squalls.

We're unscathed, but have noticed 2 or 3 trees down in the area.

Finished up here with 53 mm and just some small branches on the ground.
Looks as if there will be a bit more coming during the week.

Wow that a handy amount. Actually better that the rational is higher up there than down here. Better for the aquifer I think.

At present the ground around the sheds can't take any more as it just lies on the surface and is taking 2-3 days to get away.
Took much rain, never, tanks are full, dams are full and the creeks are running.
Just makes it hard to traverse the paddocks at present, and to do the necessary top dressing.

A couple of wet days being forecast for us.
Then followed by some dry and sunny days, great to get the grasses moving and dry out the surface water on the paddocks a bit.

Handy rainfall today with 15mm in the gauge so far.
Perhaps some drizzle later and into tomorrow.
