Hoping to get some advise please on getting started with some day trading stocks on the ASX?
What would be the bare minimum to get started, an IRESS trading account that provided charting, trades and orders with some news/catalysts info and stocks in play updates?
Which IRESS providers do people recommend? Hoping to keep the costs low until I develop some consistency.
I will not be trading with any leverage at this point, just want to get my feet wet and to develop some consistency and supplement my current income with a few trades, a few days a week on my quiet days at work.
I'm already obsessed with the stock market as I have been a long term investor for several years using Commsec, I have read countless investing books but only a few trading books and have brushed it off believing i'll just lose my money, however I cannot shake the lure and need to give it a go and develop a strategy to follow.
