4% drop yesterday
2% the day before (round figures)

Is this just a 'market correction'

I only bought them a couple of weeks back because Commsec had them listed as a strong buy.
Any perspectives welcome!

They went ex-div on friday.

All banks were a bit softer with market sentiment.

If you are buying shares only because Comsec or any other broker has them listed as a strong buy, be prepared for some pain!

8 Nov: ex-div 98c FF = $1.40 (98c now, 42c next July from the ATO)

Other bank shares are similarly affected by being ex dividend, eg BOQ, NAB.

Not sure what you circumstance are, but before (if) you make any decisions to sell, consider the direction of the market generally, the temporary or short term impact of ex div... but also the holding period rule in context of franking credits. http://www.ato.gov.au/Individuals/I...You-and-your-shares-2012-13/?default=&page=11
