HCH - Hot Chili

Just after the 45 minute mark he's asked about Hot Chili and that's his opening comment, he then strangely supports him, but he's already burned him. He goes on to talk about the need for a high grade starter pit. One of the directors that left, Nicole Adshead Bell has come in for high praise from Rick Rule calling her a quality human being so maybe he's not too happy with her treatment.

Hmm. RR actually says "A lot of people don't like him, I like him a lot, I think he's brilliant, I think he's tenacious".... So, I think he's still on board. He has a much longer investment horizon than many. Likes to load up on counter-cyclical things and not buy a trend.

I'm still confused about the NAB removal along with the other director. She was introduced with much fanfare and is a darling of the social media resource sector. Maybe she didn't like the PFSs recently out, or maybe she was night putting.

Strange thing to say none the less. At the n end of the video he has more to say about Hot Chili from the 54 minute mark

Tell these people they're dreamin.

There's not a chance in hell that they are going to mine this. Best case is that it's taken over by a mid-large copper miner who has the means to develop the project and get the capex for it. They need 1.5b for the copper and about the same for the water thing. Current MC is 70 mil.

Hot Chlli's brand new Chair has so much love of this company that he has NIL interest in it.

Until he gets some free options for driving down the SP like every previous Chair has done.

This turd with fleas should be going to the moon on this, but it's in the toilet surrounded by it's own doo doo. Woof!

Out of frustration and sense of illegitimate depression I might have to back up the caboose and buy this piece of excrement again.

No one comes to this thread and reads this crap because this company is so reviled. Much like XAM. Then, all of sudden, some moron offers double the market cap to take on it's looming debt and get rid of the incompetent managers.

Must be having a bad Day Sean.....Cheer up Mate!

My dog in the yearly comp. Deliberately chosen because I do like dogs.

Hot Chilli out ramping their La Verde (This means green in Spanish, so it's a joke. This is a desert. ha ha) indicating that they might have a camp scale deposit with multiple loads over a pretty wide distance. They can't fool me. They tried to pull exactly the same magic trick up north and it all turned to doo doo.

So, that big pink blob in the centre down there is supposed to be something like the source of the porphyr loads around the top of it. This is classic explorer deception to make you think that it's a classic massive porphyr like a Bingham Canyon, Grasberg or Escondida. Most likely, they're just making it up and hoping no one will notice.

What they do seem to have in La Verde is a reasonable size porphyr, so far. They need another 20 DD holes in it around the edges and at depth to prove it up. That means a CR soon. DD holes do not grow on trees.

Current back of the envelope tonnage is 1000x750x400x2.6 = 780Mt @ 0.2-3% Cu, with some OK grades around 0.6%.

Add that to Costa Fuego and it's adding up to something decent.

Unless they really do pull a massive porphyr out of their hat then my yearly comp chances remain poor.

This has been going down for a long time with some major thrusts. But, it's also gone up 50% in the past couple of months. I suppose that's small change for the punters who have held on to this turd burger long term, but for those who entered in April they'd be happy.

I think things may have changed a bit with the TO of XAM in Mongolia. There might be a change in sentiment to copper plays around this size that will likely get taken out, even though the capex is a bit scary.

The turd burger just went further down the toilet with yet another dilution. I reckon they've raised about $300m over the past 10 years and have a current MC of about $90m. Safely say this is a lifestyle company, but not sure why you'd want a lifestyle in the Atacama Desert. If they were drilling in Barbados it might make more sense.

oh dear!

at least they got Glencore looking after HCH shareholders with a great deal LOL

Who could mind sitting in a airport lounge for a couple of hours and then hopping on your business class flight to spend a couple nights and Santiago maybe checking out a winery or too long the way and then just pop up to a drill rig for an afternoon in a nice air conditioned four-wheel drive. And then maybe fly back had to Brisbane or Sydney or Melbourne give a 15 minute presentation at a conference go stay in another posh hotel eat some nice food come back home.

Is this the most desperate raising yet??? I only skimmed through it but doesn't look like there's any kind of major investor doesn't look like they've brought anyone new on board. Just looks like a simple hands out to shareholders please please please please please give us money please please please please please.

Not underwritten? Not surprising.

What's that monkey theory.... A million monkeys typing on a million typewriters will eventually come up with Shakespeare? I think hotchili isn't too far off the junior equivalent of pour enough money into the ground and eventually you'll find something. They can't possibly have anything left to drill.

But you always need money for airfares.

One of my tips in the yearly comp and my perennial love to hate stock.

Unfortunately, it's recovered from recent destruction which in retrospect looks like a capitulation from longer term holders and new blood has joined in the effort to encourage someone with some skill, courage and deep pockets to buy it and turn it into a mine in about 20 years time.

If I was thinking of buying HCH then I reckon I'd be potentially buying on insider information. There's two emails doing the rounds, one I think has disappeared into the ether but there'd be copies.

No one is following this are they?

A bloke by the name of Ben Pauley has sent three emails to shareholders with the most outlandish of claims including insider trading, a reason why Nicole Adshead-Bell and Stephen Quin left and a price for a takeover which is apparently happening.

It's extraordinary and management haven't responded, nor has the ASX.

You'd be better off playing cards down some of the Lygon Street cafes than losing your money on stocks, at least you get a good coffee.
