Worth watching the cricket tonight!
Gillie's Allstars have 50 off 3 overs so far lol.

Gilchrist was on "This is your life" last night -
what a champion!
what a role model!

Complete with live commentary from the players - brilliant!

A NEW ERA OF TELEVISION BROADCAST etc etc

Sheesh - 1800% better than the 5-day tests (and we have another half dozen of them to put up with )

Allstars made 203 (retired and uncapped players)

By comparison, the Aussies are 3-53 after 7 overs !.
looks like a lesson for the Aussies coming up

(heck they even let kids from the crowd field a ball or two ;)
They say Test matches are where Dad takes the kids to the cricket; but 2020 is where the kids take Dad ;)

An ACA All-Stars side led by retired wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist handed Australia a comprehensive 64-run defeat in a Twenty20 exhibition match at the Gabba on Friday evening.

The All-Stars, a collection of mostly up-and-coming domestic players sprinkled with the likes of older heads Gilchrist, Justin Langer and Brad Hodge, batted first and posted a formidable 4 for 203 from their 20 overs.

The Australians started poorly in reply, losing three wickets for 34 runs inside four overs and were never able to get their chase back on track despite an encouraging 45 by the returning Andrew Symonds.

Australia were bowled out for 139 in the penultimate over, with Steve Magoffin, Brendan Drew, Andrew McDonald and Dan Cullen all picking up two wickets apiece.

The All-Stars' fielding was also one of the highlights of the evening, with Ryan Harris running out Shane Watson with a direct hit from mid-on and Michael Dighton taking a miraculous catch on the boundary late in the game.

It was not the first time Dighton had brought the crowd to their feet, upstaging Gilchrist with the bat thanks to a memorable 34 off 13 balls, including four sixes... etc
very entertaining thanks chasps ;)
