Expiry of Listed Options

Hi,

I've no idea how options effect the share price. What happens to the share price when for example CQT options expire on the 31st December?

The closing price last Friday was 0.475 and the option value is 0.20.

What (if anything) generally happens to the share price?

Nothing, options prices take their cue from the share price, not the other way round. So when an option expires, it disappears off the face of the planet. Just more water off a duck's back really and the share price marches on regardless.
