That wasn't the point we were discussing at all. It was that having people double vaccinated and boosted is stupid, which you seemed to be inferring as it loses its potency after 6 months or so.

As I said, our goal should be to get everyone double vaccinated and boosted. It is better for their health and for the load on our hospital system. Even if only 6 months it can have a great impact and is still effective after that time to a lesser extent. It is, and always has been, about flattening the curve.

And according to studies is a fact. In regards to djokovic "being someone that may infect others" it's a moronic statement/thinking to use. So yes it's f"cking stupid". People are stupid who think you are instantly going to die if you are unvaccinated.

Double vax against omicron. For the majority is pointless. Yep I'll say that. And it's true. For at risk groups, then chances of something wrong goes up. The risk of hospitalisation and death is still small.

Don't go twisting sht to suit your position in an attempt to justify your "fear" based position.

The truth is it was only a narrow band that was ever going to get hospitalised/die from covid/delta/omicron. The actual stats prove that. (And that doesn't mean the numbers wouldn't have been huge).
But to think everyone needs a vaccine is not true.

To which I replied that it does greatly reduce the risk of hospitalisation and death, which then became the subject we were discussing. I stating that that fact alone made it not stupid.

But no point in continuing the discussion. You obviously don't need facts just your prejudices.

It was a complete change of direction. But I like to argue cause I'm a dck.

What % of the population die, or are hospitalised from omicron. Lay it out.
How far under a %?
Take it from a low vaccinated country and show me the stats if you want.

That's the truth.
Not this fear peddling bs everyone is pushing.

Regardless of vaccinations or not. It was always a select group and age range that this was going to affect. Given the shotgun nature of original covid and delta- sure I promoted a need for vaccinations. Omicron, not so much. Not unless you are in the at risk group.

But I don't advocate for treating unvaxxed as 2nd class citizens. Nor do I think those not at risk. Or who have had omicron. Need vaccinations at this point.

Djokovic was literally the rise of a brainwashed mob acting as one. How the fck was he a danger with omicron already here. Or the fact that omicron was brought in by the vaxxed. Rules are rules, they didn't even have the bloody rules set. The government lost in court. It's STUPID.

God I could rant forever about how all the modelling was bs. Majority of advice was wrong. Even the methods used to try and stop it were questionable. But I'd be here forever.
