Disney is a corporation not a person so they should not necessarily automatically be treated the same or have the same rights as a person. But anyway its besides the point. Disney is there to make profits for its shareholders not to be politically activist for its own sake. They need to stay in their lane (as should the other woke companies).

firstly Corporate free speech is protected, secondly do you know how many corporations out there in the USA make political donations and are heavily involved in politics for terrible reasons, I don't think signing a petition against something that affect so many of their employees and customers is a problem.

I think the number of gays has always been the same, people just used to hide it, and go into loveless marriages.

I don't think you have a problem with Disney as much as you just have a problem with society changing. just deal with it and live your own life, focus on what makes you happy, and let others focus on what makes them happy.

There are over 100 other districts owned by corporations in Florida, but some how the only ones Desantis has a problem with are the ones that disagree with him.

Movies may well die with gen alpha.
I've taken my kids to a couple but a lot they get bored easily. Possibly the experience of going to the movie is often more exciting than the movie.

They tend to watch youtubers and TikTokers. Movies are generally rare.
Disney theme parks and cruises might be a winner though. I noticed the trend towards "experiences" a while back.

I asked you to name a few movies that flopped due to wokeness, you named “The Marvels”, I haven’t actually seen, but when I looked it up it’s only “wokeness” seems to be an all female cast, that doesn’t seem woke to me.

To be honest I think it flopped because of other reasons, the whole Marvel franchise has been subdued since Iron Man died ending the first generation story line. I mean 34 movies out of a franchise is a lot to ask.

I haven’t even heard of it, and I am a Marvel fan, and I can’t remember seeing any ads for it either.

It looks it should be a good low risk deal for Disney, similar to the Tokyo Disneyland deal. Where the park is built and paid for by a local operator, under the instruction of Disney’s imagineers.

Disney collects fees for the services provided by the imagineers for their designs of the park, rides, hotels and theming etc, and earns fixed percentage royalty on ticket sales, food, hotel rooms and merchandise.

The local operator they have chosen is already running other successful theme parks in the region.

Next woke Disney movie in line to flop is Snow White. It looks certain to lose money at this point.

I watched Snow White, there is nothing really woke about it. In fact some of the things the media were complaining about it being woke weren’t even in the film. Eg the media she isn’t saved by the princes kiss but she is, they said there are no dwarves but there are.

Any way it’s quite a good Movie, and the music is good in it to, if anything knobbled the movie it was 1, the bad press which turned out to be a beat up, 2, the war in Gaza which caused both sides to boycott because the pro Israel said were mad at Racheal Ziegler (Snow White) while the pro Palestine side is mad at Gal Gadot (the evil queen)

Either way, Disney is over half way to break even on the theatre run so far, it will probably make up the rest over time on the back end eg streaming and downloads, and some music sales and merchandise.

You win some you lose some in movies, but it’s a great movie any way, and will keep generating revenue for a few decades atleast.
