I have recently started building a portfolio, based mainly around a positive income stream.
It strikes me that having a basic portfolio with good dividends is fine.
But having one you can shift some money around chasing dividends is better.
If you have a basic holding in all the shares you meet the holding rule but transfer a fixed amount amongst you holding chasing the dividend then this should achieve even better returns.
ANybody already thought of this and willing to share what sort of portfolio they have built to attempt to achieve this
