Ok, so it appears the toll processing agreement has secured funding via Austral Gold.
No timeframe for the refurbishment.

CEL has released an updated MRE for its South American deposits in Ecuador.
It has doubled to 9.1 MT to give about 7 million ounces of gold with with about half the deposits drilled, so will probably get bigger.
On a normal day two weeks ago, this would have generated a good boost in its SP.
Today, meh, opened down but has since recovered.
Tough market this one.

Don't be absurd.

I am fairly certain every single release... literally every single one... Has resulted in a SP drop in the past 2 years.

Heck. A takeover would probably result in a SP drop

This is six months late and half the exploration target they were ramping last year. Unbelievable.

But, this has got to be worth something. Some of the high grade stuff is close to surface which is good, but it's going to cost a lot to dig this all up. A half a billion tons of digging.

They will pick a start point that maximises yield, so the early years will generate the most cash.
Then like all the other goldies, they spend a lot of time and money looking for the next big thing to keep them going.

Not sure why Lumina wouldn't buy it. It either makes Cangjeros a 30Moz + project with a 60 year LOM or they double the size of the plant they're planning.

Sold half my holding this morning.
Up 70% on my average buy in price, so will take the profit and sit on it a while.

Got a speeding ticket from the headmaster.
CEL management could provide no reason for the meteoric rise in SP.
At least not publicly.
I am guessing there is someone sniffing around.
Maybe a takeover in the offing?

KK is phenomenal. He's nearly true to his word from several years ago. Wasn't the share price in the low 4s only a few months ago? So he's already doubled the SP once and it won't be too far off before he doubles it again!!

This guy is a legend.

But in all seriousness this company and this board just simply has no credibility (God how many times have I said that now). From 2 years ago they talked about no more delusion no more delusion no more delusion. We heard about selling off Ecuador to fund things and that still doesn't seem to have happened. We hear about small-scale toll treating to fund things and well that doesn't look like it's the case.... We here about off-take agreements Precious metals royalty streaming to fund the things... Still waiting on that....

But since he first mentioned that he wouldn't be diluting the shares I reckon there have been including todays five capital raisings???

And stinks like vegemite on pig feces that the chairman's company is involved again in yet another capital raising it's just stinky.

This is probably better discussed elsewhere... But is there some intelligent investing to be done via the threshold between 9.9 cents and 10.5 cents on the ASX as trading moves from 0.1 to 0.5 cent intervals? There would definitely be some research on this.

I refuse to go anywhere near this puppy poo. That might have cost me recently, but I just can't bring myself to give them any money. KK has zero credibility and can not be trusted. To think that he was the initial reason I was interested in this. Doh!

Buffet says always invest in good management... However an acquaintance of mine always says management does not matter - if what is in the ground is good - you can dump management. The problem is my mate is very wealthy and takes portions of a company (like buffet) but will push to scrap existing boards if required. I can't take a portion of a company wo

Two very opposing views.

The irony here is that CEL seems hell bent on building a mine when they should have sold out and the likes of CEL/ORR seemed hell bent on selling out rather than building a mine.

Argentinian Donald Trump did not do well in recent elections and I'm guessing that is why the CEL share price has been weak lately.

Argentina has been a basket case for a long time. I'm certainly no expert in Argentine politics but if the current president who is regarded around the world is being friendly to capitalism and friendly to foreign enterprise and friendly to industry is now going to be unable to pass any kind of tough difficult legislation then surely Argentina is just going to drift back to its same old ways of stupidity and trying to spend money to buy votes.

I've sold I bought I've sold I bought. I swore I would get out I swear I wouldn't get back in yet there's something that just drags me back. Nearly back to break even. And I'm going to keep saying like I always say with these gold stocks... Just have to wait a little bit longer until there's a takeover... Surely it's coming. Surely.

As an aside I think it's very odd that the recent investor presentation had no mention of the chairman... Who is also significant shareholder via his company.... And as I understand an advisor to the president.

They put up the picture in the profile of everyone on the board except the chairman????
