When driving through the Arizona, Utah and Nevada, I was surprised by the amount of Jayco vans and motor homes on the road there.

Good point, I hadn't thought of that, but there was a lot, by that I would say of the two dozen or so vans and motor homes on the road 7 or 8 were Jayco.
I didn't expect to see any.
My last van was a Jayco single axle offroad, nice van, the wife decided she was done with going back over the same ground. Lol So now the cruising.

Our last sheep dog which finally just became a house pet used to love figs. She would nip in under the low branches of the fig tree and have a feast.
She thought we didn't know, but let her have her own way in her twilight years.
A brilliant working dog who is still sadly missed some years after her demise.
Is buried in her favourite spot under the Jacaranda tree looking East where she could keep watch on whatever was going on.

Australia Manufacturing PMI Steady At 51.7 In May - S&P Global
By RTTNews Staff Writer ✉ | Published: 5/21/2025 7:12 PM ETThe manufacturing sector in Australia continued to expand in May, and at a steady pace, the latest survey from S&P Global revealed on Thursday with a manufacturing PMI score of 51.7.
That was unchanged from the April reading, and it remained above the boom-or-bust line of 50 that separated expansion from contraction.
The data also showed that the services PMI slipped to 50.5 from 51.0, while the composite index fell to 50.6 from 51.0.
Slight rises in activity were seen in services and manufacturing, with both sectors recording a slowdown in growth from the previous month.
The latest rise in output reflected continued success in securing new orders, which increased for the 10th straight month in May - although the rate of expansion was the weakest in a year.

so get a good laugh at all this , about the only real chance of a 'carbon-friendly ' use for the contaminated land , will be shoot down because Elon is not Communist enough ( and wanted to use his own money , not the SA taxpayers sweat and toil )

I tried to get tinned pineapple slices recently.
Only 2 choices.
I remember when there were 2 or 3 Australian brands competing.
Only Golden Circle and Dole available.
I didn't buy the dole (foreign)
How much manufacturing is being destroyed by the big supermarket monopolies and their own disguised brands?
Buy local where possible I say!

The local canning factories that used to be here in the South West no longer.
From memory, (The Grey Matter somewhat blurred by the cold weather at present) were killed off by imports.
