Best place to travel for a month

Any where overseas is GREAT as long as you dont take a bodyboard cover Cause it might mysteriously fill up with illegal substances :banghead: causing a prolonged stay in overseas Jail systems :D

Rome, Florence, Capri, Venice, Naples, Turin, Lake Como, Cinque Terre, and many other smaller towns, - yea should be very interesting.

Cheers

Just a thought.. Why don't you visit Iran before it gets bombed by the USA? It'll be like visiting the lost city of Atlantis before they forgot where they put it! :)
Been to Iran for work - liked the people, loved the food but after 5 days shishkabob and fake beer got me down, and still another umpteen weeks to go. Did get a liking for Lamb Shashlik though, straight of the coals- great. Loved the bread, loved Isfahen and its mosque and markets, traveled across to Sari on the Caspian Sea, waded into that as the sun was setting over the Turkish side, then Tarbriz and back to Teheran. Here's where I've worked and whether I would travel back there:
Belgium - great beer lousy weather loved the mussels, beer and chips, Denmark - beer but SO expensive, France - only the south through Po into the real south where the French is not understandable by non-French speakers, but the food is great - grab a bottle of local cheap red, baguette bread, cheese, watch the geese fly over the Pyrenese as autumn closes in, beauty, Spain - in a minute for the Prado, the snacks, coffee and the wine, saw a bullfight just to check it out but wouldn't go back again
Cyprus - MY PICK - great food, great beer, wine not bad, loved the mese, loved the people, used to wander along the Green Line after work peering ito the UN buffer zone and wondering how it all will end, Nigeria - forget it bloody dangerous! Egypt - saw the Pyramids, heat, flys, perfume sellers crowds, rip off merchants, English teachers on holiday aka con men etc, and dangerous forget it, UK - OK been there so many time (yawn), S. Africa - OK, Zim - Hmm, Cuba - would be back in a minute but food rice and beans and banana (plantan) gets a bit boring but rums great and people great
Cost Rica - GREAT - really great, great food and very good scenery - Atlantic to Pacific in a few hours, nice people careful of the Nicaraguans after dark, NZ - GREAT - lovely country - back in a flash pity you can't live off scenery, Thailand - loved the food but the traffic and pollution get a bit tedious, Vietnam - loved the food - Hanoi, Nga Trang but never went to HMC, Indonesia - great food and Bintang beer is good, stay away from tourist spots obviously, Myanmar - great food, strange politics - huge buddist temple (with an escalator, seriously) in Yangoon (Rangoon), Hong Kong FOOD, SHPOPPING, Switzerland - the police arrive if you are talking too loud on your balcony in summer after 7pm - seriously!, Germany (Bavaria) BEEEERRRRR -lovely, India - apart from the Tja Mahal - too crowded, dirty, polluted with s***t and cows everywhere but Rajasthan eg Udaipur well worth visitng - really great, beer is not bad (Fosters and KingFisher), Bangladesh - dangerous, crowded and polluted, no beer, Nepal - loved it, go back in a minute except dangerous, China - FOOD FOOD FOOD, but so polluted now. Loved Summer Palace, Forbidden City etc, US, Canada, Mexico, - my pick Mexico - great place - but dangerous on your own if you are in Guadalahara, Mexico City etc
Probably forgotten some. So where would I go for a month? - on reflection almost certainly Bermagui on the NSW south coast - great period is March April between school holidays when the weather is not boiling hot, when the people have thinned out and you can go deep sea fishing! GREAT!
