this article is a little old but nearly 11 months left in the year .. and PME closed above $283

but first we need to break $300
 
Not the ASX 200, more 'emerging companies', but putting it here in case it's of any interest. It comes from Market Matters and repeats UBS's expectations for whether some upcoming H1 results and outlooks will surprise to the upside or downside. My stocks are CDA and IMD but I notice the double negative on ARB Corp


 
Insignia Financial was top of the pops today. Greg Canavan of fat tails investment advisory has been right on the money with this one. Not only did he tip it as a neglected value stock when nobody else was noticing it but just a few days ago he alluded that another offer would come over the top - as happened today,

 
Beach has come back , to $1.42 ... was an over-reaction?

agree. Some things look attractive, but having a cash buffer is important, too.

Thanks for that @finicky . I had a look just now with a mind to buying a divie giver for my SMSF but like you and @Dona Ferentes the cash is more attractive given the uncertainty about ... just about, and about everything. It's a bit cloudy here again which affects my decision making.

Winners and Losers on Thursday.
A couple of lithium companies topping the poll? Insurance companies fared poorly.

 
Yesterday was a big winner for me on asx and US last night, but wonder what we will see today on the ASX....i would say slightly up with everyone still expecting a rate cut on Tuesday, let's see what the pros say..

hmmmm HLS at nearly the price i bought some in January 2024 ..
do i dare another dabble ( i exited in September @ $1.68 ) ?
