Hmmmmm....

When we all strike it rich from our speccie punts, I thought I would be apt to include a shopping list of all the ultra-cool stuff we can purchase.

Please feel free to include pictures/articles of all thing expensive - be it cars, boats, houses or jewelry.

Here's one for the speed freaks out there....

i dont have a picture but im assuming everyone knows what a hummer looks like (accompanied by lifetime fuel card)...

Hey you guys with your superfast cars: where are you going to drive them in Oz at that speed? Only the Northern Territory comes to mind. However, yes, yes, they are gorgeous.

My super rich fantasy would be a house. High on a clifftop above Mediterranean type blue sea, with easily graduated steps down to white sand beach. No surf, just perfectly clear turquoise water at precisely 27 degrees C.
Because the ambient temperature would be about 30C year round, house would be open to huge decks surrounded by tropical foliage and bright flowers, outdoor infinity edge pool plus indoor lap pool. Five bedrooms all with large ensuites so house guests could feel comfortable, kitchen, living, office, lounge all opening to decks with views out to sea. No air conditioning - sea breezes and fans only. Late model Mercedes in the triple garage. Excellent shopping and market not more than 15 minutes away by car. Two German Shepherds lying on the deck.

Have I left anything out? Sounds pretty good to me.

Your super rich fantasy sounds a lot like mine, though I would be living on an island. Plus, being single I can still dream of the incredibly cute chauffeur/houseboy :D

I used to fly gliders and light aircraft (when the RAF were paying ;) ), so a plane is high on my list, and as we're talking fantasies, it would have to be a new Citation as I admit I'm getting a bit long in the tooth for a fighter.

Next would be a boat, and my favourite purely by coincidence is called a Tarquin Trader 575.

I have to agree with Sam on the bike, but only because Laverda don't make big triples anymore.

If Holden hurry up and make the Efigy I'll buy one even if I don't win the lotto

......and they'll all be parked on the Island next door to Mouse's in a Julia designed mansion ;)

When you have all of the above I think you'll find the bikini babes come free, as long as it's not a long and meaningful relationship (or conversation for that matter) that you're thinking of ;)
 
I don't want anything extravagant though I would like the means to go find ship wrecks and photograph them whilst my base was in south east asia or south america....


Some of the ideas above are rather tempting, though..

Sounds perfect, I like your wish list, the only thing I would add is broadband internet connection, not sure how easy it is to get it in the meditterranean, but I bet you could just buy a satellite instead LOL

happy dreaming, although the way you seem to be going and from what I've read of your story so far, you may just acheive it one day soon. I hope so for your sake

Yes,

Those aliens could help determine where we are wrong and point out how to learn to resist radiation poisoning after the religious zealots nuke everyone.

Those aliens would be welcome in my village and the castle on the hill would be reserved for them. :alien:

I'd love to meet the aliens too, but I don't really see how my level of wealth can ensure that. So top of my wish list is:

A Trip into Space. I want to see the Earth from outside!!

I'm aiming for 2010. That gives me a fighting chance of getting fit enough to enjoy it.

No, but seriously, we could ask them some really great questions about anything and just sit there all night listening. That`s my dream. :bekloppt:
