I think we could have a major global recession sometime in 2026. If that happens car sales will get hammered as they are one of the first things to drop during a recession.

That’s usually the case. Consumers tighten their belts and look at low cost options, including used vehicles and keeping existing vehicles on the road longer.

AMA group might see less sales of new parts as people shop at wrecking yards, but then there’s the problem that wreckers are not as good as they were 30 years ago.

Regardless, AMA doesn’t sell cars.
