2025 Full Year Stock Tipping Competiton

Howdy Gentlemen and Gentlewomen.
Started to update the data for the comp, and have come accross a problem.
Brickworks was chosen by @bigdog as one of his entries in the comp, but as w all know, it was swallowed up by SOL.
The question now is, how do we account for it?
Do we allocate him SOL and deduct the original price by a similar percentage as BKW changed before the takeover?
i am open to suggestions.

1 BKW converted to 0 82 SOL.

My thought is to do exactly what would've occurred had the shares been held for real in any situation such as this.

If the takeover results in a cash payment then do that and let the participant choose a new stock.

If the takeover results in being issued shares in another company, those shares become the entry for the remainder of the competition.

If it's a combination, shares in another company plus cash, then apply the cash amount as a multiplier on the new shares.

Just my thoughts.

PS - mine are all updated. :2twocents

Yep thats doable, but his orignal choice , BKW, was 41.3% for the year up until the time it was killed off.
Do I discount the orignal sol price by 41.3% so he does not lose out?
Fortunately, no one else chose SOL, so it would not further complicate things.

it was a takeover aka merger - rewarded for the "premium".

multiply SOL by 0.82 and see how that looks ( % up wise from last months price ) and then try GG's suggestion for adjudication

i get $31.5618 a share , which should be a nice profit for BKW over the year

and breathe a sigh of relief we aren't adding dividends in this year
