yeah I think he would be a better coach ... succeed not sure ... not entirely sure of the roster he is left with.
Interesting choice really, the lad would have learnt from Trent Robinson in recent times.

I read the Club head honcho is retiring soon , that will be a great help to the coach

Fresh faces will help the players tune in to the new coach and hopefully get better results on the field

I do think Ponga will move on asap, no hope of a premiership at Knights anytime soon

yes ... but Ponga is on an obscene amount of $$$ reckon the Knights might even tell him see ya later alligator and buy two quality players for the price of one. Maybe he will stay having committing his loyalty to the new coach.

He got some point to prove for mine does Ponga, probably needs to cut the umbilical cord with his father. Hasn't played anywhere near the amount of games and certainly has not revealed being a million dollar player consistently. Maybe O'brien can get the lad on the paddock playing good footy

Ponga is a classic case of not getting opportunities, there were often complete sets where the other players refused to give him the ball.

He had to go looking for it in traffic and would then get smashed

A good coach would have had him getting the ball to the left or right of centre field and one on one with the defensive centre or second rower.

He can step around Any player one on one but it simply never happened
