Hi folks,

I happened upon this video. Anyone who has anything at all to say about the Middle east situation should watch this.

It is made by an overtly christian couple and you will have to stomach a bit of preaching here and there, but it presents the situation from another angle than the one presented to us via the cabalist mainstream media. It glosses over the Islamofascist problem, of which we already get plenty of coverage, but has a frank look at the history of the area and the players involved.

Please watch it and make up your own mind.

*bump*

It is interesting, even if you have to listen to the odd supercalifragelisticexpealidotious 4:21

It gives a broader understanding of the ME dynamic.

When I tried to run this video it kept stopping. Do you have any idea what cause could be?

Julia, you must be on dial up. Just let it fully download (it might take a while) then press play.

the whole video seem to be preaching.

why is the war?

Because of the 3 words in title Zionism, Islam and Christianity and 3 conflicting books(well 2) but they all believe in the same god

I did warn of the overtly christian production. They do apply the blowtorch to the belly of their own religion and give it a whopping serve.

But what you say is sort of true but not quite. These religions are capable of living side by side, and have done so for long periods of time... interspersed with the odd crusade, holocaust etc.

The thing to notice with previous episodes of disharmony is that they have been state sponsored.

In the modern west we have been educated to lay the blame of the current unrest firmly at the feet of Islam, and to have unquestioning support of Israel.

However the film reminds us of how the modern state of Israel was originated through violence, disposession and "terrorism". It is the Zionists with the complicity of the west who have screwed things up there.

This is not to condone any sort of terrorism from the Islamists. This is equally repugnant. But we must face all issues surrounding the middle east, before we can, in fairness, make any judgements.

This is why I have consistently pointed out there are no white hats in the middle east. Israel is not blameless and are not "just" defending themselves.

And please!! I am not an Islamist apologist and am fully aware of the threat to our own culture as highlighted by Snake and others. But that is an entirely different issue.

Cheers

Yes I think the whole thing is sad both sides have had such a bad time over the past 120 years and I can see where both sides are coming from but the UN giving away 55% of land to someone that owned it 2000 year before was not a good idea. I really don’t think it is going to end and that is the saddest thing in the world because both sides’ religious and people have so much to offer the world.

Both there gods are the same and both believe in same bible (Old Testament) so I really don’t know why they fight

That is my 2c

PS it is not the Middle east it is in fact western Asia

hello,

crazy stuff what goes on with all these groups

old testament, new testament, koran, buddism what a load of rubbish

this stuff from all parties is so fictional it amazes me how people get sucked into it all

And of course in Australia, GB (thats Great Britain not Geo. Bush ) gave us 100% of this country that we had never been in - is it any more just?.
We will have to be very, very careful that we don't fall into the trap that has befallen the middle east.
I am not suggesting that we should all move back to our countries of ancestry, but I suggest that we don't take lightly any upswelling of feeling here. The situation will be like walking a tightrope for the next century I would guess and it is going to take political and jurisic sense to see it through.
I trust our leaders over the next decades have the neccessary nouse to keep our country at peace.

No Wayne, I have ADSL. I did let it load fully. It starts OK, runs for a few seconds, then stops, I click the mouse and it starts again for another few seconds and so on.

Julia, I had same problem, press pause for say 5 minutes & then start playing, you just need to download first before play, probably your DSL connection is slower than video.

On the video, I'm shocked with the facts & really, it answered me a years long question on why US is backing up Isreal that much!

Even that I think that info were given from a christian point of view (I'm not mentioning anti-jewish) & they could've had some religious intentions againist evaangilicans, but I would still say that the facts they mentioned about crimes done by Isreailis to get hold of palastine are still facts that are wrong regardless of who highlighted them.

The next question that comes in mind is what could happen next if power shifted from US to say Europe or Asia, I think then the map will be re-drawn again & the whole story will story will start all over again from begining!!!

Interesting video & even that I thought I knew it all, I learnt something new today.

cheers,

I want to make a clear distinction between Judaism and Zionism.

Here in this jewish article in a jewish news service, a bit of self analysis.

This person is speaking from a position of compassion, rather than hate. We need some more people like this on all sides.

Here is a very disturbing development:

SNIP:
I aways thought this could be a possibility that our folks would start this sort of nonsense, but it has come earlier than expected.

This is bad news.

There was also some good viewing on Foreign Corrospondant (ABC 9.20pm) about Syria and the Golan heights. Things look like they are going to come to a head sooner or later there as well. Then you just have to see the rhetric coming from both Bush and the Iranian president and things aren't looking so sharp there either. Reminds me of the build up to Gulf war 2.

Just one for the pundits who like to think we aren't socially founded on Christianity;

In the 1911 Census:

Christians 1619303
Lions zip
Non Christian 19274
Bet eachway 7476
No religion 4444
conscientious Objectors to Question 32409
Unspecified 11423

of the Non Christian 270 were Mohammedan

Islamic leaders unite to speak out against anti-Islamic behaviour

... and where are they when Islamic followers display anti-Australian behaviour?

"Fair go" is an old Australian tradition. But the tolerance has to cut both ways. As a newcomer to this country, you can't come a-wailing how badly you're being treated and demand tolerance and respect for your followers' quirks, if you're not willing to demand the equivalent tolerance and respect for others from all members of your own group. Australian people bend over backwards to help anyone in need. But that willingness and welcome will end quickly if you rub them up the wrong way, claim special privileges on the fiction that your own mannerisms, your prophet, or your head honcho are any more special than theirs.
In that regard, a Muslim is no different to a Christian in this country, or a Gay/Lesbian whatever: Ram your being different and oh-so-much-holier-than-thou down everybody else's throat, and you reap the consequences.
