Which product to trade?

I've been thinking about daytrading in my spare time, which is usually between 7pm and 10pm at night once the 'day job' has finished! I'm reading lots of material but am struggling to determine which is the best product (IE, forex, Futures etc) for this time of night. Obviously I have to learn from scratch but would appreciate some help in focussing on what to learn to best suit my time availability.

id say forex, mainly cos thats what i do.. its 24/5 and you can start off with as little as $100 and still use proper MM as some offer nano and micro lots

any recommended reading for this? Also are there any particular currencies that are preferential?

I mainly just trade the FTSE cash with IGMarkets at that time.
