How much after tax income would it take for you to feel like you were living well and comfortable.

Hahaha, crazy kid.

yeah, I wince when I see people advertising “free dogs” or “free cats”, when you really have to be prepared to spend a lot of money over their life to care for them properly,... but of course not as much as the little humans hahaha.
 
Vet fees are worse. I hope the animal was not hurt.
No injuries to the cat thankfully.

Tip - if you have animals then I suggest ticking the "accidental glass breakage" box on your insurance cover. I didn't do this, thinking that I'd be unlikely to accidentally break any glass and that even if I did it couldn't possibly cost much. Well I got that wrong.....

It wasn't without a purpose though. The flying bug was successfully caught in the end.
 
I think when one is evaluating how much money you would like on retirement we should consider the costs of a decent holiday.

The latest one I came across was the chartering of the super yacht Lady E * for some world wide sailing in the style we might like to become accustomed to...
