HI
I recently closed my CMC Markets account and i had 4 GEM shares worth about $4 each. I have now recieved a Uncertificated Holding Statement from Advanced Share Registry and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if i can transfer or sell these shares with no brokerage and the process for doing this?

note: I have accounts and ideally would like to transfer (at no cost) these shares to my broker sponsored account with NabTrade

Thanks in advance!

The uncertificated bit is meaningless link

Does the identification number start with an I or a X?

If it's an I it is an issuer sponsored statement and you can ask NAB online to do an issuer to broker sponsored transfer.

If it's an x it is a broker sponsored holding and you can ask your broker to do a broker to broker sponsored transfer.

Some brokers will charge for that service so check with Nab online first if they will charge.

Cheers

It was a TRF2 transfer and all i have is a securityholder reference number that starts with 2000. I get the feeling the shares are in Limbo. I cant do a broker to broker since i am no longer with CMC and they dumped my shares with the registry. I might call them monday
