How do I find out how many short positions are on a particular stock? Thanks.

I'm not entirely sure if you are allowed to access them. I haven't found a way to view shorts, and I'm quite sure that only brokers and market makers have the ability to view shorts.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

But its only the Naked shorts. Not the total number of shorts. As usual the ASX has holes in it the size of the Titanic.

Covered shorts are not included. They are the ones that Funds hold but lend out to other funds on an OTC agreement.

Still, it must be useful as a guide to know how many other people are bearish on a stock...
