Hi
I'm going to do the tax return myself
Is there any way to get a consolidated summary of dividends and CGT of all my holdings during the financial year.
I have received a couple of letters in the mail from individual holdings, but not all...i cannot find any consolidated statement under my account in my broker's web page or in the registry web sites.
Also, i have found in the registry web site, that one of the holdings which I sold and for which I realised a CGT, there is simply no tax statement available ???
appreciate your help

Not that easy best to get something like this and data entry as you get dividend and buy/sell shares

http://www.topshare.com.au/
one off payment with many update each year and very good piece of software, save hours in tax time.
and it has all the features you need for anything to do with shares..

Every weekend It takes me 5 minutes to see what I have get in dividend or buy and sell shares
then I enter the data takes another 5 minutes done ... if I got no activities no data entry...
at tax time hit the tax report button, print out done... :)

No affiliation I just like this tool so much and the support from the developer is top class.

make sure you keep all your dividend statement and buy/sell contracts because if you ever get audit
you need these real piece of paper to match up the data entry transaction

... there is simply no tax statement available ??? ...

My broker has a trading Team, which I can reach with email or phone.

Anything I cannot find or isn't on the website, I can ask.
They take 1 or 2 working days to respond to email.

Your broker probably does this too!
