Hi,

What is the limit on the amount of shares a company can acquire before they have to announce that they are making a takeover bid?

Thanks.

Because two companies bought an equal amount of shares and obtainned an equal amount of voting power yesterday (8.24% each) in BUY which has entered into a trading halt today.
