Ron.ThanksBut I still dont get it.If the buy and hold only took the same number of positions which were triggered in your system then OK.But it took more?I presume also that it takes positions in every stock (as a comparison) to those in your portfolio everytime a buy occurs.Even though you stop out or exit the buy and hold continues.While I understand the comparison its practical application in the real world is not possible due to lack of capital.You couldnt replicate the results.You could only buy and hold the first X positions then your fully capitalised.Yes I understand its a benchmarking method!But----As such to me its of little value.
