Hi,

Can you guys explain why there are these tiny sell orders for a small cap company!?
Bought some last week and there was a partial execution of 1 stock too. Seems to be recurrent, who/why is doing this?? Isnt there a $500 min trade?

Any ideas??

It's a ploy of the experienced traders. Usually executed by bots and algorithms.

Yes, orders are minimum $500, however an order is different to a trade, and the bots use conditional order coding and can spread out the triggerering of the order of $500 in many ways, using parameters such as time, volume, rate, price etc
Seen and unseen.

Triggering a buy or sell event for 1 share can push a trader to manually buy or sell, to avoid closing the day with brokerage costs for 1 share.

One of the oldest tricks in the books by unscrupulous characters, and we all get had, from time to time, if not careful.

Cheers and good luck.
