So then, rumours galore Munster looking at going to the Perth Bears ... on an absolute fortune ...

It has further been reported that Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy has lavished praise on Cameron Munster and insisted that the club will fight tooth-and-nail to keep him at the Storm amid speculation of a poaching bid from the Perth Bears.

Munster is under contract with the Storm until the end of 2027 but Bellamy conceded the club would listen to any request to join Perth if it was to arise given the service he has given to Melbourne for more than a decade.

Mindful that the Dolphins couldn't get him to Brisbane under big Waynie ...

Dunno where this one will go. Reckon the Storm will have rocks in their heads to let him go....

Interesting times.

Storm 22 won easily over the Broncos 2 ...
Didn't help that Reynolds, Mam and Cobbo come off the field with hamstring type injuries...

Be an interesting team without them ... See what the damage is once injury confirmed.

I thought it was shaping up for a real contest until the disaster

Broncos were switched on and playing the best I have seen for a while, Melbourne was up for it as well

Then Oops, **** happens, that left them 2 subs short as well as losing their key player.

Hunt is nowhere near his best anymore, I prefer Walters as hooker, better passing and much more energy in general play

Reynolds, Ezra Mam and Selwyn Cobbo have all been ruled out of action for the next three weeks, with Mam and Cobbo unlikely to return for the rest of the season due to grade three hamstring tears.

The Broncos medical team have confirmed Reynolds' injury is not as severe as his teammates but will take up to a month to recover.

Sea Eagles are a joke. Too many old players past their best. A total clean out of the roster is needed.

Can we start with getting rid of Luke Brooks. Whose idea was it to sign him from the wooden spoon West Tigers? Absolutely useless.

Yes, and the sooner we move on from Cherry-Evans, the better.

Unfortunately, Tom Trbojevic is ordinary since he started getting injuries too.

Coach Anthony Seibold can also go in the clean out. Sticking with DCE as captain was a dumb idea when he had turn up his nose up
at the club and refused to sign but will play on elsewhere in 2026. Jake Trbojevic should be captain right now.

Should be a cracker this THURSDAY.....

yep reckon so too ... so whose gunna take the lolly??

Bookies have Penrith at $1.55 head to head whilst Melbourne is at $2.45 who is without Papenhuyzen... and obviously Jahrome Hughes is still out with that injury. Games being played CommBank Stadium, Sydney.

Penrith worthy favourite.

rcw1 don't like either of them teams, but dislikes Penrith more ... so gotta put some coin on the Storm to come home in a very tight one.

Storm have 5/6th choice Centres as well.
Forwards seem OK. As long as they can score points Storm could win.

Great controversial game of footy... last night
Melbourne 22 Penrith 18

Some outstanding attacking footy skills on display tonight (23/08/25) Eels v Roosters.

Reckon if Moses can stay on the footy paddock next year, Parra will be in the top 8 for sure, no doubt in rcw1 mind.

All things rugby league ... Big Dessy is gone... The Gold Coast Titans are poised to appoint Josh Hannay as their new head coach after confirming they will sever ties with veteran coach Des Hasler at the end of this season.
