Query on Dales Pty Ltd Brisbane - flogging software

To start with I have done quite a lot of research on this company and found out some quite interesting facts.

Their sales pitch is that they only have 400 to sell with just a few left. They are selling thousands of these so called miracle software packages under different names.

They have an answering service for customers in Brisbane and the person running it does not have any idea on the business or their techniques.

They do have a permanent building they work from which as far as I can find out is situated in Mt Gravatt, Capalaba Road, Mt Gravatt, Qld. I think it would be around number 97.

I am now not in a position to get there to sort this out.

I hope this helps all my fellow investors. Secretly do your research and then get the TV involved.

Hi i have recently been stung by these same people. Same story as everyone else. Their new trading name for me in sydney isnt PCAA, Dales or Walker Thompson, they've changed it again.. now its Sage Sentinel Pty Ltd.
They wont give my money back either, however since their office is only in Newcastle (apparently). If i cant get this sorted; im going for a trip.
This company reminds of that Ben Affleck movie "The Boiler Room" and they need to be exposed.
I have made afew calls, and posted afew things, but upon researching on another site a lady called Rebecca left this number in her blog (some sort of refund investigator) 1300 550 475. otherwise asic, accc, fair trading, a current affair will be next if i have to.
PS. Here is there new phone number and address, incase anyone wants to do some cold calling themselves.

Yes, these and many other spruikers like them. I too had my fair share of dealing with mobs selling software and seminars over the years. They will often cross-market their products and change their company names once things get too hot. Stay away.
 
My friend was called and the brochure came. It sounded good but after 4/5

days of research because of scant info and only finding one person who has

used the software and bagged it, it seems like it a hoax.

Hi Sandras - I am keen to hear what you have found out. I got conned big time, got the software, looked at it, 'paper traded' etc. I complained, wrote emails and then got rather hostile emails and letters back. Im embarrased to say they even had me saying sorry to them for not giving it a proper go and hence I went ahead and started to trade. Im not such a strong person when it comes to standing up to nasties!!!! Im now madder than ever at myself and them and would like to know that maybe I have some chance of receiving my money back if I complain like hell and threaten them some more. Im not sure what to do or where to go from hear. Do you or any others have any suggestions, lawyers maybe - I see some earlier postings have had success and heres hoping we can to.

I have just stumbled upon this forum a bit late in the picture! And I too seem to have been taken for a ride by Data Share and guess what the sales consultant was Danny Wells!!! Who also suggested I pop in for a cup of tea when I am in the area!!! I have checked on ASIC and the company has now been deregistered. Is there any hope of getting money back once the company has been deregistered? Did you manage to get your money back, Kristenw?
 

It's January 2010 and I'd love to hear the outcome of it all.
