Murchison Development Update – February 2025
Open pit mining activities have commenced ahead of schedule, a 2m lift of the tailings storage facility is underway and the process plant expansion works are continuing to advance at pace.
• The open pit mining contractor has mobilised to site and commenced mining activities ahead of schedule.
• Open pit support infrastructure including administration complex and fuel storage facilities are commissioned and the heavy vehicle workshop is nearing completion.
• A 2m lift of the southern TSF cell has commenced and is expected to be completed in mid-March 2025.
• Expansion works on the CIL gold processing plant continued to progress rapidly during February 2025, including:
o Installation of the new mill deck and cyclone structure;
o Completed installation of the final 145m3 CIL tank;
o Completed installation of the new cyanide storage tank access and unloading platforms;
o Progressed work on the new electrical switch room area; and
o Continued inspection, testing and replacing where needed various pipework, cabling, pumps, wear billets, liners and lighting.
 
I'm picking MEK again for the March comp.

The uptrend looks intact and a gold developer might do ok in a wobbly market.

Chart update, with PoG going to Mars, this little beauty has a SP heading north... All time SP high yesterday (16/04/25).

Meeka Summary (announcement 31/03/25 attached):
  • Murchison Gold Project hosts a large high-grade 1.2Moz @ 3g/t Au Mineral Resource on granted Mining Leases;
  • The Murchison Gold Project Definitive Feasibility Study released in December 2024 focusses on restarting the fully permitted Andy Well mill;
  • The Study outlines a 10-year production plan up to 76koz pa (averaging 65koz pa for first 7 years), undiscounted pretax free cash flow of $1B, NPV8% of $616M and IRR of 180%;
  • Site activity is ramping up with open pit mining underway, underground mining commencing mid-2025 and process plant commissioning in the June 2025 quarter;
  • First gold is targeted for mid-2025.

  • Circle Valley Project in the Albany-Fraser Mobile Belt (also host to the Tropicana gold mine – 3Moz past production). Gold mineralisation has been identified in four separate locations at Circle Valley and presents an exciting growth opportunity for the Company.

Meeka expects to produce 544,000oz of gold at all-in costs of $2247/oz over 10 years, with peak annual gold sales of 76,000oz in the fifth year of operations.

Great looking chart Continues to steadily rise making a new high each month
 
Murchison Development Update – April 2025 First ore mined from the open pits at the Murchison Gold Project (“Murchison”) as processing plant expansion works approach completion. • Open pit mining achieved a major milestone during April with first ore mined from the St Anne’s North open pit. • Stockpiles of ore are now being built up on the ROM in preparation for process plant commissioning in June 2025. • Open pit mining also commenced at Turnberry Central during April, the second of five Stage 1 high-grade oxide open pits to go into production. • Strong progress continued to be made on the processing plant expansion with major structural works completed, gold room upgrade well advanced and electrical, air and water service installation progressed. • Power station upgrade works commenced in April and will be completed in the first week of May 2025.

Interesting company.

Most goldies push for 1m ounce/100koz/yr profile before pulling the trigger.

MEK is starting with 60/70koz yr production.


With gold at A$5000+ the numbers look good.

Since this February presentation they have announced shallow drill results for Turnberry and St. Annes of over 100gm which should add meaningful early production to the pits.

Just gotta get through the start-up without too many problems.

August pick.

MEK is at the start up phase, pouring their 1st gold bar on 1st July from the gravity circuit with wet commissioning under way.

It's a couple of young brothers running the show and look to be doing a great job.

Like how they are starting with the easy to process open pit mining before bringing on the higher grade underground.

Recent drilling results have potentially expanded the open pits and could increase production above forecasts.

PS : " Those who doesn't have "any trading systems" there are a few options
a) start to make one and it consumes time and energy as well as some $. If you are loaded you can even buy one or a view. Obviously, if your post evolves around gas lighting and hatred; you will got nothing and maybe one should stay as a talking head and cheering a stock market with some crappy fundamental info.

b) those who loss or missed out an opportunity for some reasons, not much I can do! you need to get help from a "shrink" or don't play at all. there is a wise words for this. If you can't stand on a heat don't work in a kitchen. In conclusion, this is not an anger management spot

c) Those who got trading system and wish to improve it, you are welcome to post your code. There should be a lot of enthusiasts here. The materials that I got, are the final products and "it is not a shareware". I can share if only you contribute to me . Trading system aims to improve the entry or exit point and being accurate is what I call as a talent not lucky! Just because I don't share, it doesn't mean it is bad (may be for those who is jealous as they can not laid a hand on it!)
