been buying a few stocks on good exploration announcements just before 10am.
but noticed they dont start trading time like similiar stocks in their alphabetical bracket

when do they start trading?
sometimes it seems more like 10.13 and these stocks are not in trading halt
with the good announcement there are huge orders on the buy side pushing the stock up and it is difficult to know when to place your order.

another basic question is XT stands for cross trade but what does that actually mean?

cheers craig

Its when there is a cross trade in a single broker. When a broking firm has a buy order from a client and a sell order at the same price.... which is at the market price. Then they can trade within the firm.

thanks beamstas

my question relates to HAZ with an announcement 2 weeks back of big tungsten find

announc. released approx 9.57am
pre open trading continued to approx 10.13am when share trading opened and matched out at 15c
