IB Funding

Hi guys,

I just wanna find out how long in general your funds take to be received by Citibank Sydney? from which bank do you send it? Would like to get an idea so I know what to expect. Assume this is the right place to send it,

The account number as reference will suffice?

I understand that IB charges for 2nd withdrawl and onwards in a month, but there is unlimited free deposits and no restriction on how small/large the deposit is? And do they normally let you know when funds have been received by email or do you need to check under account page?

When I recently transferred funds across it took less than 4 hours or so. I don’t remember receiving an email, however, the account management screen confirmed that they received it OK. I requested the teller to have as much information as possible as reference, so not exactly sure what she took out of it

I will leave the other questions to folks who have used IB more frequently.

Thanks mate, It sounds like you did a transfer at the bank? mind me asking which bank it was?

It was a wire transfer at St. George bank.

Same and same. Takes only a few hours for my IB account to receive the wire, also done through St George.
