This appeared on a link from Bretts blog, to another blog, that quoted Brett.
I quoted it, not necessarily as I agree, but, I did find it interesting as it did not differentiate, but was generic.

In brief, I do read articles by Brett, but generally can't agree with his superficial & trivial handling of generally interesting topics. These articles are in the same light, a relevant, important, & interesting topic, but nothing that the individual can take away and use immediately.

I became a fan of his after his article on Big Swinging Ticks. Irony and risque' double entendres' (sorta) were not what I expected from an academic.

I like his articles, not because they are always right, but because they prompt some thought on these matters.
