Hi there
Highlights
Significant step-out intercept received from the Analytic One target, including:
3m @ 7.76 g/t Au from 225m
"Analytic One" is the target. A target is typically something a geologist/geophisyscist has identified from (usually) an aerial survey (magnetic or otherwise) or it could have been identified during an earlier survey or a shot in the dark based on surface or nearby mineralogy... whatever... it is an area of interest.
3m of orebody at an average grade of 7.76 gram per tonne Gold (Au), down the hole at 225m. ie the intercept is not very wide and not very rich. A single drill hole in isolation means very little, so see below...
Intersection confirms the Analytic One mineralised structure 30 metres to the west of Emmerson’s maiden drill hole ANRC001 which returned 24m @ 6.27g/t Au from 246m incl. 3m @ 48.3g/t Au from 264m.
Drill hold ANRC001 is more interesting, it was the maiden drill hole in another target (Emerson's)
24m of 6.3gram per tonne Gold (Au) at 246m down the hole and 3m of 48.3 grams per tonne Gold (Au) at 264m. Are the two targets contiguous ? etc etc A geologist could probably tell ? or more drilling may be required.
You also need to look at the inclination of the hole the, strike of the zone etc etc etc to try to build-up a picture of the potential orebody.
The "Analytic One" mineralised zone has been drilled some 30 m further back from Emmerson's. If they assayed for Cu (Copper) they didn't find anything notable.
I am no Geologist and the last time I had anything to do with mining was 1994, so memory is getting a little vague, so make of that what you will
Hopefully you will get some better answers
Look up terms like reserve, resource and understand them as well...
Not sure if that even makes any sense to you ?
