Getting paid dividends on recently sold shares

This is prob a stupid thing to ask,

But I recently sold some ANZ shares like 4 days ago and I was just wondering will I get paid dividends on them if I had them for a few months before?

how long do you have to keep the shares to get paid dividends?

Quite simple:
If you hold the shares at the end of the day before they go ex dividend, you receive the dividend. It's immaterial whether you bought them on that day or many months before.
If you buy them on or after ex-div day, you won't receive a cent.
