Hello I am new to this site and this is my first post.
I came across a quote "stocks that have a large percentage of ownership by top management are generally tour bedt prospects"
Hmm. How can you figure out how much a company owns in shares of itself?
Sorry if it's a stupid question I couldn't work it out
Any examples would be great, thanks.

The Annual Report will list the top 20 shareholders and by looking at their names you can check for managament, also the report will list the director's shareholdings.
