I have shares in Bradken Ltd. BKN. 7days after the interim results were announced, a notice was posted that a cum dividend market had been created BKNCD. Similarly later the same for Bendigo Bank. Can anyone explain to this newbie the reason/purpose for this and is it disadvantageous/advantageous.
