Hi,
I have recently started looking in to trading in CFDs. Could anyone tell me where to begin, what should I start trading with?

Hey Nat

Do you have much trading experience? If not, I wouldn't suggest that you jump straight into CFDs.

I trade CFD's but only so that I can take extra positions. I only use my own capital amount when determining my risk position.

I currently use Macquarie prime for trading CFDs, their platform is good and they are reasonably priced.

You might want to do a search on this site regarding CFDs as there is alot of discussion about it.

Hope this helps

Sammy

They've just put the price up to $20 min per trade for CFDs, bit expensive imo.

Also do a search on 'Money Management'. It really is critical.
Yes position sizing, money management, portfolio heat, back testing, forward testing, simming, all critical for CFDs ... hold on, that's funny, same for stock trading

Who do you use nomore4s? I find Mac prime ok as most of my commissions are around $20 anyway, and they dont charge extra for triggers. Also their trading platform works excellent on safari for my mac...not many do

Yay, finally another macquarie prime user!

The comissions are all going to be roughly the same anyway. You must use the platform that is most suitable to you.

Btw, i wouldn't start trading CFDs without first practising either...
