Research report & production report coming mid april, this may help sp.
Good story for Zircon producers in today's Australian, interesting to see if it helps sp come monday.
(emphasis mine)Conclusion
The expansion of the existing Murray Basin Operations is a significant project in its own right and it will deliver a significant increase in earnings.
However, it is important to note that the Company’s resource position is capable of sustaining far more than just two large-scale mining operations (combined mine life of 17 years) in the region.
Over the past year or so it has become very evident that potential now exists for Bemax to increase production from the Murray Basin to around 100,000 tonnes per year of Zircon and up to 200,000 tonnes of Rutile per year. Furthermore, the existing resources are capable of sustaining these production levels for more than 30 years. I am pleased to advise that planning for the development of the balance of Bemax’s Murray Basin resources - beyond Snapper and Ginkgo - is underway.
I look forward to updating Shareholders on the progress with these plans, in the not too distant future.
