AIS has refinanced without raising any capital through SOL. With my financial illiteracy it seems to be shuffling money around with different names. Not sure the costs out weigh any benefits.

Meanwhile AIS continues to plan without making any progress. Price has fallen since the refinancing announcement, Seems the market agrees with me.

i am guessing they are planning to move some staff from Tritton to Jaguar , surely they don't plan to bolt-on extra resources quickly via M&A

so for a mature mine the two easy ways to improve margins are a reduction of head-count ( because it is hard to retain staff by cutting salaries ) and to reduce hedging ( if any ) , better machinery costs in the short-term , higher throughput wears machinery , it is not easy to improve margins on a copper mine

Did SOL have a funding agreement?

Mine manager now AIS, nice purchase agreement if you can make it work AIS.

Copper speculators are sending spot pricr up and the local is biting. Will it be the big climb for copper stocks?

Happy fishing

So they've got access to more money, how about producing more copper? I'm assuming the low (price) is in now and it's onwards and upwards for the rest of the year.

SOL ( i hold SOL AIS and several other companies SOL invested in ) has a strategy of slow grinding progress ( if successful )

may not as so and long-winded as BHP but not very often do they buy 'rocket-ships '

more copper ( and gold ) ?? well most of that is coming out of Queensland and weather can be a real money-wrench there

i will be watching the projects in the Southern States to aid extra diversity of revenue ( when they start becoming profitable )

from memory the QLD mines are mature and unless i missed extra Capex promises on exploration i see a probable return to normal ( weather permitting ) and those mines are NOT jaw-droppers ( in relation to output ) otherwise the major that previously off-loaded the gold mine wouldn't have sold
